"Personal Ad is the first EP by Decomposing In Paris, and I can honestly say I'm more excited by this band that any other new band I've heard in years! The EP opens with the title track, cute lyrics, catchy tune and the sweetest voice you've ever heard! For fans of Fiona Apple or Regina Spektor, this is a strong kick off, and you really find yourself wanting to be her friend and "play pretend" before the atmosphere gets cranked up a notch. "Naked" is triphoptastic! Probably the song you'd hear on the radio or in the club, this could easily have been written by Portishead or even Massive Attack. "He Loves Me Not" is just the most beautiful thing you've ever heard, if you like Bjork, or Muse, or anyone that makes good music really, then you'll love this too. This song has been stuck in my head for weeks now! The EP climaxes with "High & Dry" a song about someone that wronged her. Now, I think Becca Hopkins is gonna be the new Kate Bush, but Kate never screamed like this! It's such a heart wrenching, beautiful journey that you'll want too let it loop and start all over again!"

"The haunting sound, vocals and lyrics of Decomposing in Paris are like none other I have heard. I spend most of my days listening to a wide range of music...everything from Tori Amos to Ellie Goulding. Decomposing in Paris brings a wide variety of melody to make each song grip your soul. The magnificent vocals of Becca Hopkins range from a beautiful low melody to her torturous screams. This band has something extraordinary to offer the world.
Their current EP "Personal Ad" has four tracks and each song has its own story to tell. The title song "Personal Ad" and its childlike melody put to phenomenal lyrics. The backing vocals on "Naked" and the crackling to simulate a vinyl record makes for a perfect combination. Becca's vocals on "He Loves Me Not" are haunting and mesmerizing. "High & Dry" is by far my favorite song because it transforms you into another world. The whole EP is well produced and leaves you wanting more. I can't wait until they release a full length album and hope to see them live sometime in the future! The videos of their live shows are as mesmerizing as their music!
You owe it to yourself to check this band out. I highly recommend them to anyone who is a fan of pop, electronic, alternative, progressive trip hop, UK or just music in general! You will not be disappointed - I can promise you that! Can't wait to hear the new material they are currently working on."

"Been looking for good music for a while now and Decomposing In Paris is now one of my favourites. Damn, this band is good! Their music is eccentric, eclectic, calming yet riveting, beautiful yet haunting. The lead vocalist, Becca Hopkins, is phenomenal. Her voice is beautiful! Talented woman that can really sing straight to your bones, which she exemplifies in "Naked". My personal favourite song of this album however is "High and Dry" - I just love the whole composition of the song. It's so relaxing and melodic. Hope this band gets more attention, as they are a really talented group. Overall, all the songs of this album were really well composed. I wish the album were longer though (only features 4 songs)! I can't wait to hear more from this group. I'm truly a fan!"
